Pony Tails...

Avery's hair is finally long enough to put into a barrette, clip, pony tail, and into pig tails... very short and very thin pig tails.

She now knows her toes are called toes and can point to boo boos on command. She knows a bath takes place in the bathroom and what to do when told to "give it to daddy." Every day she is getting better at holding and using crayons and her creations are beautiful. She will not put a crayon in the box right side up. This isn't something that happens by chance.. she will turn all the crayons around and put them in point-first.

Lately she is pointing and calling everything mama: animals, daddy, even pictures of herself. She is also saying duck, climbing onto the rocking horse by herself, and strapping herself into her little booster seat.

Last week she got to spend with Grammy and Grandpa while Casey and I were in Ecuador. She had tons of fun fishing at the beach and playing with her cousin Gracie.
